Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 26, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Caribbean Medical Student website (the "Site") and the coaching, mentorship, and related services we offer (the "Services"). Caribbean Medical Student is a division of Renge Medical, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site, submitting an inquiry or intake form, booking a consultation, or purchasing any Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy practices. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

2. Who We Are

Caribbean Medical Student provides physician-led coaching for Caribbean medical students and international medical graduates (IMGs), including guidance on USMLE strategy, clinical rotations, the residency application and interview process, and the Match. We are a division of Renge Medical, LLC.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to bind that person to these Terms.

4. The Coaching Services

Our Services are educational coaching and mentorship. Engagements are scoped to your situation and defined in a written proposal or quote we provide before you commit. The specific deliverables, schedule, and fees for any paid engagement are set out in that written agreement, which works alongside these Terms. Where the two conflict, the written engagement agreement controls for that engagement.

5. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not guarantee any specific result. Coaching can improve preparation, strategy, and confidence, but many factors outside our control affect outcomes. We make no guarantee that you will achieve any particular USMLE score, obtain ECFMG certification, secure interviews, match into a residency or fellowship, be admitted anywhere, or obtain licensure. Any examples, ranges, or timelines we discuss are illustrative, not promises.

6. Not Professional Advice

The Services and the content on the Site are for general educational purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial, immigration, or tax advice, and they are not a substitute for the official rules, deadlines, and guidance of your medical school, the ECFMG, the NRMP, CaRMS, state or provincial licensing boards, or other governing bodies. You are responsible for verifying requirements and deadlines with those official sources and for your own decisions.

7. Free Consultation

The introductory 30-minute consultation is offered free of charge and carries no obligation to enroll. It is a coaching conversation, not a professional evaluation, and no payment is collected during it.

8. Fees, Payment, and Refunds

Fees for paid Services are stated in your written engagement agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, fees are due as scheduled there, and deposits or amounts for sessions already delivered are non-refundable. Refund eligibility, if any, is governed by that written agreement. We may use third-party payment processors, and your payment is also subject to their terms.

9. Scheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Sessions are booked in advance through our scheduling tools. If you need to reschedule, please give reasonable advance notice. Sessions missed without notice, or cancelled with short notice, may be forfeited or charged as set out in your engagement agreement.

10. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree to provide accurate information, to engage in good faith, and to use the Site and Services lawfully. You will not misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, infringe others' rights, or use the Services to gain unfair advantage in any way that violates the rules of an exam, school, or application process. You are responsible for the integrity of your own applications and submissions.

11. Confidentiality and No Protected Health Information

We treat the personal information you share for coaching as confidential and use it to deliver the Services. In return, you agree to keep confidential any non-public materials, methods, or feedback we share with you. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI) or patient identifiers through the Site or during coaching. The Services are career coaching, not clinical care, and are not covered by HIPAA.

12. Intellectual Property

The Site and our coaching materials, frameworks, templates, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use materials we provide solely for your own coaching. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share them without our written permission.

13. Testimonials and Results

Any testimonials or examples of past client experiences reflect individual results and are not a promise of your results. Individual outcomes vary based on each person's background, effort, and circumstances.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may embed or link to third-party services (for example, a scheduling tool, an email provider, and the separate USMLEtutor question bank at usmletutor.com). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Privacy

Information you submit through the Site (for example, your name, email, and the details you share in an intake form) is used to respond to you and deliver the Services. We do not sell your personal information. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

16. Disclaimers

The Site and the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, arising out of or related to the Site or the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Renge Medical, LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or Services or your breach of these Terms.

19. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site or the Services if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time; the terms of any paid engagement will continue to apply as written.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
